Thomas Ulrich is a trained mountain-guide. Since 2007 he has also shared his enthusiasm for the Arctic with his guests. Every year he takes a small group of adventurers on skis from the 89th degree of latitude to the North Pole.
Looking at his photos people will remember Thomas Ulrich primarily as a photographer and tend to overlook the fact that he is also a highly qualified mountaineer and adventurer. With these skills only is he able to take his most spectacular pictures.
For fifteen years Thomas Ulrich has been making a living with his camera. In the meantime he has become one of the most popular outdoor and adventure photographers. "The National Geographic Magazine" is one of his most renowned clients.
Thomas Ulrich is a photographer, adventurer, businessman and, last but not least, a gifted
storyteller.
In his talks, illustrated with breathtaking pictures and film clips, he skilfully connects his
adventures with risk management in business life or uses them to show us how he makes dreams come true!
For four years now the mountaineer from the Bernese Oberland has also been working as a cameraman and film producer. Thomas filmed in the north face of the Eiger and on Mount Everest for Swiss TV. Even with his first films he won a number of awards at international film festivals.
